Motorola has published the specs of its upcoming Motorola Signature 27 smartphone. It revealed the phone's features and design in collaboration with YouTuber Danny Winget, who published a hands-on video on November 2, 2026. According to Android Authority, the global launch is scheduled for November 5.
Tandem OLED display with 12,000 nits
The phone has a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo panel built on Tandem OLED technology. Instead of a single layer of organic LEDs, it uses two stacked layers, which increases brightness while saving energy. Motorola claims a peak brightness of 12,000 nits. For comparison, Android Authority notes 2,600 nits on the Galaxy S26 Ultra and 3,600 nits on the Pixel 11 Pro XL. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, and gizmochina.com additionally reports that the panel is LTPO.
Motorola Signature 27 specs: Snapdragon and cameras
Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The vapor chamber is 40% larger to better dissipate heat.
The main camera consists of a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 sensor with LOFIC support. The periscope telephoto lens offers 200 MP and up to 100x zoom, and the third is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Motorola has added a so-called Action sensor for capturing fast-moving objects.
Design, software and price
According to Android Authority, the body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum and ceramic, and both color versions are Pantone-certified. phonearena.com lists the Cool Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive variants, the first with a tactical weave finish texture, the second with a feathered-inspired finish. Winget himself described the phone as "sizable." There is a special AI button on the top left, while the volume and power buttons are on the top right.
The phone will ship with Android 17, and according to phonearena.com and gizmochina.com it is eligible for seven years of system updates. Battery capacity and charging speed have not yet been revealed, nor has the official price. Speculation suggests that the 512 GB version could cost up to $1,800.
